What is the Melbourne Whisky Club?
The Melbourne Whisky Club is a coop of whisky enthusiasts seeking an opportunity to try a range of different whiskies without the cost of purchasing full-sized bottles.
Each month there will be a new range of whiskies on offer centred around a theme. Sometimes it will be based around a region, other times around a flavour.
You have the option of a 50 mL single dram bottle or a 100 mL two-drams-to-share bottle. The idea is that if you like a particular whisky we can source it for you cheaply. If you don't like it then you haven't wasted hundreds of dollars on something you're not likely to drink. This club is all about trying new, exciting and unusual whiskies. We are continually working with our suppliers to gain access to something special for club members. The month to month cost is $35 for the 50 mL option and $60 for the 100 mL option.
There is no obligation to purchase whisky each month. It is simply an opt-in for each month.
Membership costs $50 and grants access to each month's whiskies. Each member also receives a Glencairn glass and a 100 mL bottle of whisky. The Glencairn glasses are recognised by the Scotch Whisky Association as the ideal glass for whisky tasting.
